Vladimir Kashchenko, the CEO of Atomenergomash, leaves office in January 2012 due to transferring to another position.
“This decision was very well deliberated and wasn’t made today. Atomenergomash established itself like a national leader and made itself known in the global business community. In spite of the crisis we expanded in production in comparison with other power machine building companies. When I was appointed CEO in 2008, there were two major assets in the company, now there are over fifty of them. During four years we managed to quintuple our gains and during the last three years to quadruple our backlog. I believe I met my obligations and it’s time to draw a certain line. Starting from January 2012, I move to another interesting job, where I will handle new ambitious tasks” – said Vladimir Kashchenko.
Deputy Director General of the State Corporation Rosatom, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Atomenergomash Kirill Komarov thanked Vladimir Kashchenko for effective management of the company during the last four years. Kirill Komarov mentioned that Atomenergomash was issued key challenges: demonopolization of nuclear power sector, securing Rosatom plans of nuclear power plants construction, as well as the development of a global diversified company. “At the moment these tasks are fulfilled and this is certainly Vladimir Kashchenko’s merit as a manager, a team leader. I would like to thank Vladimir Kashchenko on my own behalf and to wish him further professional achievements”, said Kirill Komarov.
Previously Sergey Kirienko, Director General of Rosatom, thanked Vladimir Kashchenko for efficient management. Sergey Kirienko particularly noted that under Vladimir Kashchenko’s leadership Atomenergomash turned into a major holding, and the gains of the company increased significantly.
Vladimir Kashchenko was appointed CEO of Atomenergomash in 2008. In 2006, he was appointed Commercial Director of Atomenergomash. In 2007 he held an appointment of acting CEO of Atomenergomash.
