TSNIIMASH signed a contract with the Indian company HEC

JSC “RPA “CNIITMASH” (is a part of machine-building division of Rosatom-Atomenergomash) has signed a commercial contract with the Indian state Corporation Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited (HEC). The agreement includes the development and implementation at an engineering company HEC cross-cutting technologies for production of blanks, shells, castings and forgings for the heavy and power engineering. The entry of this Treaty into force is planned before the end of 2017.

The signing of the contract was another step in the implementation of the framework agreement on the development of technologies signed by the parties in December 2015. A new step in cooperation opens certain prospects, both in the development of other engineering technologies, and in the joint implementation of a number of projects, as well as in the modernization of machine-building capacities  of HEC.

Earlier, within the framework of the agreement, the parties in February 2016 signed an agreement on the establishment of a Center for General Engineering and Technical Training in India.  In February 2017, the first phase of the Treaty was successfully completed, currently the Russian side is developing the necessary training materials, and the Indian side is creating the appropriate infrastructure.  Training of the first specialists is planned to begin in late 2017 - early 2018. The center will conduct training on nine different courses, duration from 1 to 4 months.  At the first stage it is planned to raise the qualification of about 200 Indian engineers.

Joint efforts in the implementation of the signed agreements create serious prerequisites for the development of new areas of cooperation, some of which are planned to be implemented in 2018-2020.  In addition, JSC "NPO TSNIITMASH" will participate in the implementation of the program for the modernization of the machine building complex HEC.
