The portfolio of orders of Atomenergomash on the basis of 2017 increased by almost to 455 billion rubles

The ten-year order portfolio of Rosatom's machine building division – Atomenergomash (AEM JSC) exceeded at about 455 billion rubles on the basis of 2017. Thus the company's volume of contracts has increased by 34.5 billion rubles in comparison to 2016.

"It is worth mentioning here that the company's order portfolio has increased thanks to new orders made in nuclear power industry and its adjacent sectors as well as other business areas. In accordance with the strategic goals of Rosatom State Corporation, we continue to build up our presence in non-nuclear industries, thus implementing complex projects, aimed at development of power industry, petroleum refining industry, gas industry and other key sectors of the Russian economy", said General Director of Atomenergomash Andrey Nikipelov.

In particular, last year, AEM has become a single-source manufacturer of the equipment of boiler and turbine island for plants of waste thermal recycling into energy and raw materials, being under construction within frameworks of the project "Energy From Waste", initiated by JSC "RT-Invest". The company also signed contracts for the package delivery of reactor compartment equipment for two small hydropower plants of JSC RusHydro. Projects for delivery of evaporators to the PJSC SIBUR Holding and construction of new salt production plant in the Kaliningrad region as the other projects are going to be implemented.

The company signed contracts in nuclear power industry for the package delivery of reactor compartment equipment for power units Rooppur NPP, as well as other auxiliary equipment for this nuclear power plant. On the basis of the given contracts Atomenergomash is currently a supplier of equipment of nuclear steam generating plant for two power units of Kursk NPP-2, the second stage of construction of Kudankulam NPP (India), four units of Akkuyu NPP (Turkey) and Hanhikivi NPP (Finland).

Also, in partnership with General Electric the company is implementing contracts for the supply of the turbine hall, including turbine equipment for Akkuyu and Hanhikivi NPPs. In addition, Atomenergomash continues manufacturing auxiliary equipment of turbine hall for Kudankulam NPP (India) and Busher NPP (Iran).
