At the beginning of January 2016, the ten-year order portfolio of Rosatom's machine building division – Atomenergomash exceeded 400 billion rubles, which is nearly twice the amount recorded at the beginning of 2015, - this information was provided to journalists by General Director of Atomenergomash Andrey Nikipelov.

In absolute figures, the company's order portfolio has increased by 175.8 billion rubles, thanks to new contracts signed in nuclear power industry and its adjacent sectors. In particular, in 2015 the company signed contracts for the package delivery of reactor compartment equipment for power units 3 and 4 of  Kudankulam NPP (India), as well as miscellaneous equipment for turbine halls of nuclear power stations that are currently being constructed in Russia and abroad.

According to General Director of the machine building division, the order portfolio for non-nuclear business areas has experienced significant growth as well. For instance, the volume of contracts for gas and petrochemical industry has increased by 3.3 times and for thermal power industry by 2.2 times. In particular, ZiO-Podolsk, in accordance with the existing service agreement, will perform capital repairs of ten referential boilers at "Kazakhmys Energy" Ltd. (Kazakhmys Energy) facilities, as well as carry out the delivery of equipment to Zhambylskaya GRES in Kazakhstan.

In addition, there's been a considerable increase in the scope of services provided by AEM enterprises within the framework of the State Defense Order.

"Such significant growth of our order portfolio is, first of all, an indication of the confidence our partners have in us, which is one of our most valuable assets. There is only one way we can justify this confidence – by timely fulfilling all our contractual obligations. This has always been one of our top priorities," noted Andrey Nikipelov during the press conference.
