PJSC ZiO-Podolsk (an incorporated part of Rosatom – Atomenergomash division) has been visited by the representatives of the American company Honeywell, Inc. on a study basis. Honeywell, Inc. is a major corporation engaged in automation and control, systems for aviation and space, production of the material for chemical and electronic industries, implementation of the systems for energy and transport. The purpose of the visit became an initial audit of the plant for manufacturing petrochemical equipments.
PJSC ZiO-Podolsk capabilities to manufacture equipment for chemical industry presented a special interest for foreign colleagues.
Honeywell, Inc. built the chemical and petroleum refinery plants throughout the world, including Russia. Russian market is of great interests for foreign colleagues. They consider PJSC ZiO-Podolsk as a potential supplier of gas and petrochemical equipment for domestic and foreign markets and probable site for manufacture and implementation of their own equipment.
Honeywell, Inc. authorized representatives were acquainted with PJSC ZiO-Podolsk manufacturing and engineering capabilities, its competencies to manufacture and supply equipment for gas and petrochemical industries at the meeting with participation of PJSC ZiO-Podolsk and SC EC ZIOMAR (an incorporated part of Rosatom – Atomenergomash division) core managers. The guests examined the samples of the finished equipment and observed the manufacturing process.
Honeywell, Inc. authorized representatives were satisfied with the visit. They appreciated PJSC ZiO-Podolsk manufacturing capabilities and technical potential at their true value. The initial audit was successful and PJSC ZiO-Podolsk obtained Honeywell, Inc. accreditation.
